I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, new to East Coast Mental Wellness. I received my Masters in Holistic Counseling from Salve Regina University. I have 11 years of providing counseling to individuals, families, and couples. I provide Mindfulness and meditation to assist with being present and meeting you wherever you are in the moment. I possess strong Cognitive Behavior Therapy skills in areas of anxiety, depression, trauma, and other life changing events, through my years of service. Understanding my clients' view of their world is of utmost importance. I take your feelings very seriously. My specialty areas are tension reduction, stress management, alleviating depression, unresolved grief, ADHD, relationship issues, and health/fitness/weight. I work with individuals ages 15 through 99, as well as with couples. I use a variety of methods depending on the client and problem. For instance, I rely on expressive therapy for unresolved grief, whereas I use mainly behavior therapy for tension reduction. Above all, I check frequently with my clents to be sure the methods I am employing are meeting their needs.
