I believe in each individual's potential for healthy growth and change. At times, we all feel overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, depression. or face a loss or difficulties in work or relationships. As a psychotherapist with over 25 years' experience, I have successfully worked with individuals, couples and families to deal with distress, deepen self awareness and achieve changes to lead more fulfilling emotional, relational and professional lives.
In a confidential, safe, supportive relationship, I help individuals, couples and families look at past experiences, current behaviors and a range of feelings that have gotten in the way of achieving full, satisfying lives. My approach is psychoanalytically grounded, but is also informed by more experiential, strength based, present focused and attachment oriented therapies.
Additionally, I have led bereavement groups, helped individuals deal with loss, consulted to schools, led parenting groups and provided parent guidance around issues of child development, family life and transitions.
