He has provided counseling for individuals, families, and groups in church settings, private practices, a psychiatric hospital, and an outpatient mental health facility. He has been married for 24 years and is a father to 5 children.

Before private practice I worked for UTMB-CMC within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. I have a passion working with serious mental health issues, but working in TDCJ reinforced a desire to focus more on earlier interventions, eventually leading leaving to begin my private practice. My specialties include treating psychosis spectrum, mood, and personality disorders, however I also have experience working with adjustment, anxiety, complicated grief, trauma related, obsessive compulsive, and substance use.
