I help clients (children, teens, and women) become healthy, happy, responsible, motivated, and self-disciplined. I have over 25 years of experience working with children, teens, parents, and young adults. Having served as a teacher turned school counselor, I know firsthand how challenging these formative years can be for all involved (students, parents, and educators). I know that my client's success is based upon working collaboratively with all persons involved in his or her life. Together we will explore and create healthy and positive preferred futures.

My experience as a wife, bonus mom to two young children, my own journey of faith, and time spent with the animals I adore, affords me the ability to utilize these relationships to help communicate the many ways in which clients interact with the world around them can be beneficial and become a catalyst for growth and healing. My approach to therapy utilizes a foundation that life experiences, even as early as childhood, shape our view of the world around us, how we relate to others, and how we view ourselves. These experiences, in turn, shape our beliefs, thoughts, perceptions and interactions throughout every aspect of our lives.

People should live happier, healthier lives. That is what all people want and deserve. My focus is on helping people achieve ALL of their goals. Everyone goes through tough times. Some people go through them on their own, but sometimes it takes a professional, unbiased perspective to help. People are the result of both nature (inherited traits) and nurture (environment) which form lenses through which we perceive the world.
