You’ll find a relaxed & informal atmosphere in my office. Bodhi, the therapy dog, and I offer counseling to adults who would like help with anxiety/fears; injuries, illnesses, accidents and other trauma-related issues; negative thoughts; relationships; stress reduction/mindfulness; creativity and sports performance enhancement, & compassion fatigue. My philosophy of counseling is eclectic and draws upon many approaches in the mental health field. These include: EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Brainspotting, DNMS (Developmental Needs Meeting Strategy), IFS (Internal Family Systems), Mindfulness, Traditional talk therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral therapy, & Attachment-Focused therapy.
As well as helping my own clients, I enjoy partnering with other health / mental health professionals to provide faster relief for their clients. I often provide EMDR, parts work, or other trauma resolution techniques while clients continue to work with their providers. Together, we help clients reach their goals faster & more efficiently.
