Mental health issues that affect learning, such as Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, poor social skills, behavioral issues, stress management, poor organization skills, learning disabilities, self-esteem issues, and poor "adulting" skills are the most critical issues I evaluate for and/or treat. My primary services are psychological testing/diagnosis and counseling. I accept clients ages 3+ but specialize in working with ages 12+.

I have been providing clinical services since 2016. I enjoy working primarily as a youth and family clinician, but I have also worked with adults, and served as a clinical supervisor. I treat a range of presenting issues including disruptive/oppositional behavior, depression, anger issues, behavioral issues, anxiety, parent-child conflict, and emotional dysregulation.

Rachel has worked with clients of all ages, specializing in working with children aged 5-18 in clinical, school and youth camp settings as well as experience in hospital, and community mental health environments. She works with helping clients with issues related to anxiety, trauma, depression, suicidality, LGBTQ+, grief, ADHD, and ODD. Having been a client, she has a strong understanding of how difficult the healing process can be, and the importance of incorporating playfulness and joviality to therapy sessions.

The two best predictors of whether or not an individual will effectively address their psychological issues are the client’s engagement and the client-therapist relationship. If you are searching for a mental health provider, chances are you will bring the engagement! As for the client-therapist relationship, my highly relational therapeutic style works for a wide variety of clients. The combination of these two predictors with my utilization of empirically supported treatments facilitates individuals and families that are exhibiting psychological issues improve their life.

I have experience working with individuals with a wide range of mental health diagnoses such as, but not limited to, Autism, PTSD, ODD, Anxiety, Depression, and Substance Use Disorders. Many of the people I serve have co-occurring disorders. I work with adolescents, teens, and adults ages 12+. I use a customized eclectic approach to promote mental health well-being in all the clients I serve.

In addition to working on social skills and behavior management with clients and their families, Sarah has extensive experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, art therapy and play therapy to help children who've been diagnosed with anxiety, depression, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, and oppositional defiant disorder. Hello, my name is Amanda Vanlaningham, LPCC, LIMFT and I am a professional counselor and family therapist. I have experience in working with families, adults and individuals in the treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, grief, and PTSD since 2014. I strive to meet my clients where they are as well as supporting them on their journey to reaching their personal goals through skill building, insight, and increasing self-awareness.
