I am a Board Certified Licensed Clinical Psychologist in New Jersey, North Carolina, and New York and work as a full-time psychologist in private practice in Livingston, NJ. I received my doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Adelphi University in 2002 after having completed my pre-doctoral internship at Trinitas Hospital. I received a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology from Montclair State University in 1996. I have also been a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) in New Jersey since 2009.
My clinical style is varied, with the focus on helping individuals develop their strengths and recognize that they have the ability to overcome their struggles. I believe it is important to provide guidance and support and to help individuals recognize how their thoughts and behaviors may interfere with personal satisfaction.
The majority of the individuals I help have been diagnosed with anxiety, mood disorders, bereavement issues, and adjustment issues. I also have clinical experience working with children and families managing ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. I have been also trained in EMDR and Energy Psychology.
