My name is Brandon Lowe and I'm a dually licensed therapist. I am the owner of Knew Era Consulting PLLC behavioral health agency where my staff and I provide therapeutic services. I have both LCMHC (Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor) and LCAS (Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist) licensures. I specialize in mental health, addictions (substance abuse), and sex offender treatment (Certified Sex Offender Treatment Professional, CSOTP). I have been in the Mental Health field since 2006 (15 years). My staff provides therapy in both English and Spanish.

I have over 30 years experience in the behavioral health profession, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate in both California and North Carolina. I first received my certification in Health and Human Services in 1989 and completed undergraduate and graduate studies in 1995 earning a master’s degree in social work from San Diego State University.

During my 11 years in Hospice, I learned how to help people navigate the many challenges that come with grief and loss. ​ As a long time meditation instructor, one of the hallmarks of my practice is the use of meditation as a tool for healing.

I am a Psychologist/Neuropsychologist who specializes in trauma and gender identity (WPATH member). I practice in a group setting with another clinician. We offer individual individualized psychotherapy, designed to meet your needs using different best practice models of therapy. We provide evaluations for HRT and gender affirming surgeries (usually within 3 sessions). My practice specialties in working with children and adults; Gender, Relational Dynamics, Complex Trauma, & Rare Neuropsychological Disorders I help people across the world to find ways to work together and will help you to move forward in your journey.

Protect Your Mind. It is very important that people protect their mind. If we do not protect our mind, we will open our mind to gravitate towards anxiety, stress, worry, complaining,frustration anger, and physical illness to things of the world that the average person cannot control. Within this present time I am offering consultation and teaching to address how to cope with the uncertainty of the unknown. This time period of uncertainty within our world will pass and a healthy mind will make this process much easier and more effective for the greater well being.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist who has been helping people in the Charlotte area make essential changes in their lives for 21years. I believe that a frank and gentle approach which values the therapeutic relationship is the key to facilitate individual change. My approach is an active one in which I work with the client to find resources and experiences that create a sense of hope within. I have two major areas of focus: life span issues in adults; adjustment problems in children and adolescents. With each group I cultivate a sense of humor and an ability to play as part of my therapy.

I also find authenticity and humor essential for healing and use both liberally.
