My ideal client would be parents or caregivers seeking treatment for their children with behavioral, emotional, and social problems, such as ODD, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and other typical childhood issues. These clients would be interested in a parent training format for the treatments, indicating a willingness to actively participate in the therapy process and work collaboratively with the therapist. Additionally, the ideal client would be open to utilizing technology for teletherapy sessions, as my services are presented in an online therapy platform.

In a nut shell, I care about people and have a desire to help others on their quest for healing, wholeness, and reaching their full potential. From 2002 until 2014 I was an Adolescent Therapist and Clinical Administrator at Logos School. Throughout my professional experience I have guided many adolescents, young adults and their families toward attaining their emotional, social and academic goals. I have established effective therapeutic relationships with individuals suffering from a variety of disorders and issues including but not limited to: Anxiety, Depression, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Bipolar, OCD, ODD, Conduct Disorder, grief and loss, self-injurious behavior, school phobia, substance abuse and others. I believe that everyone has a voice that deserves to be heard and I am here to listen.

I have experience working with a variety of client needs, such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, abuse, oppositional defiant disorder, conduct disorder, ADHD, school problems, relationship problems, and social problems. I have also worked with a variety of populations to include the military, adolescents, families, and developmentally disabled.

My speciality is treating children with attachment disturbances. Most of the children I see have been adopted, but many have had other medical and other relationship traumas that have contributed to their current acting out or anxiety issues. Many of the children I see have been previously diagnosed as having Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, ADHD, and Bi-Polar Disorders. I also see adults who have experienced childhood trauma.

Play is the place where children’s minds, hearts, and souls meet. Through Play Therapy, children are able to heal from distressing events such as, but not limited to, trauma, grief and loss, divorce, depression, adoption, foster care and attachment issues; and to improve in myriad areas such as impulse control, emotional regulation, ADHD, OCD, and ODD. My background includes 12 years (2005-2017) working full-time in long-term inpatient programs for teens as a therapist & training director before I opened a private practice in 2017. Our counselors possess a wide range of experience and were selected to meet the diverse needs of our community. We have 16 counselors in our three offices that are ready to work with you. If you are looking for individual, family or couples counseling, we have someone that can work with you. We also have 7 Provisionally Licensed Counselors and Interns that are working under the supervision of Marc Dipoto LPC. They meet weekly with their supervisor to discuss their cases. This service is offered to at a reduced rate.
