I have extensive professional experience with children & adults with concerns including relationship & family conflict, trauma, autism, intellectual disabilities, behavior issues, ADHD, & parent coaching. I worked in residential, hospitals, private practice, & in-house counseling. I facilitated group & individual supervision, parenting education, couples, groups, family, & substance use therapy.

Open to seeing clients of all ages and presenting concerns, I specialize in treating mood and anxiety issues in teens and adults. My aim is to practice therapy that works! I work with outpatients, mostly children but some adults. We have treated both Adults and children with a specialty intervention called neurofeedback. Our target clients are neurodevelopmentally delayed such as autism, learning disabilities, and other neurologically impaired clientele. We have been highly successful treating attention deficit disorder without medication with a 90% success rate. We have also treated with success those with cognitive impairment due to head injuries, stroke, and have been particularly effective in treating anxiety disorder.

It is all too often we miss out on life as it unfolds, in the present moment. In truth, some of us struggle with presence and reactivity more than others. As a former teacher, I have witnessed firsthand the challenges that children and teens face, including academic stress, peer pressure, and social anxiety. I'm passionate about treating kids, teens, and young adults with a specific specialty in behavioral issues, anxiety & OCD. After working in schools for two years, I am intimately familiar with helping children and families manage academic stressors and navigate the school setting with minimal interference from psychological distress.
