I am a licensed mental health counselor with a doctoral degree in counseling psychology. My passion is for children and families and I try to make it possible to help anyone who has a need. I work exclusively with children aging 18 months to 18 years. I have been treating children in private practice for over 21 years. I treat ADHD, ADD, Anxiety, Asperger's Syndrome, Depression, Grief/Loss due to death, separation/divorce or deployment, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), verbal, physical, sexual abuse, and neglect. I have extensive training and experience in treating children of separating & divorcing parents. I work with divorcing parents and their children in the Collaborative Divorce process. I provide them with insight and the tools to make the process go as smoothly as possible.

I am a licensed mental health counselor with over 12 years of clinical experience in various settings including inpatient residential, therapeutic foster care, community outpatient, and community crisis response. I specialize in working with children and adolescents with anxiety, depression, ADHD, oppositional behaviors, as well as various other diagnoses. I also work with adults who struggle with depression, suicidal ideation, anxiety, relationship issues, and divorce recovery. I have been trained in EMDR, Trauma Focused CBT, and the Parenting with Love and Limits program.

My goal as a clinician is to build trusting relationships with those searching for professional services. Through a transparent and accepting environment we will work together to move through life's difficult challenges.

I do have an additional Certificate in Substance Abuse Treatment and provide EMDR Therapy. Along with Substance Abuse I treat Eating Disorders.
