My ultimate goal is to help guide my clients to become the best version of themselves, equipping them with skills to regulate difficult emotions and learn effective communication so their desires and dreams become a reality.

Depression and anxiety are at an all-time high, especially among children, teens, and young adults. Their mental health is controlled by peers, social media, and high expectations administered by family. Sometimes, a traumatic event occurs and their lives spin out of control. Many individuals who struggle with their mental health at such a young age begin to fill the void of what they believe is missing in their lives with negative vices. Some, unfortunately, turn to self-harm and have suicidal ideations.

I am passionate about working with children and adolescents who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation, and grief. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches to teach alternative ways of thinking, learn coping and conflict resolution skills, self regulation, problem solving, creating healthy boundaries, communication skills, instill hope, and build self-esteem. I also enjoy working alongside families who struggle with dysfunctional patterns to educate and implement healthy boundaries, strengthen connections, and work as a unit to resolve conflict.

I have a knack for motivating young people to their purpose and developing action steps to move forward. I am also a certified Technology Assisted/Distance Based Counselor.
