All these profiles have fabulous ways of describing what therapists do and it's a bit intimidating - for you looking and for me as I compete in this forum. It's difficult to start this process but please make sure you find the right fit. Therapists have training - and some of those fancy methods are very effective! But I have found that over the years, time and time again - it is the relationship that heals. First the interaction must be strong and then if it suits you we can get into resources, workbooks, science etc. No one approach suits all people.
