I’m Rob Dorr, founder of Open Door Mental Wellness. I am a mental health clinician who works with adolescents, adults, and athletes navigating mental health stressors, performance pressure, family dynamics, and life transitions. My background as a school counselor, teacher, therapist, director, athlete, and coach allows me to understand how these worlds intersect, especially for those balancing expectations while still figuring out who they are.
At Open Door Mental Wellness, we start by wanting to understand your story—how you got here and what’s shaped you. From there, we use clinical and trauma-focused skillsets, grounded in CBT, DBT, and acceptance-based approaches, to help you understand your experiences, build resilience, and move forward in a sustainable manner
