I enjoy working with Adolescents and Young adults struggling with body image, emotion regulation concerns, anxiety and depression. I also work with clients who struggle with low self-esteem, trauma and phase of life transitions. Clients who are open to learning new skills, process emotions and work through their eating disorder in order to focus on their career goals and achieve their true potential in life. I offer clinical supervision to associates in California and workshops and trainings on mental health.

I love connecting with people from all backgrounds. I feel as though I am learning from others, just as much as they may be learning about themselves throughout the therapeutic process. I'm an individual and family therapist who enjoys helping adolescents and adults cope with life changes and traumatic experiences. Some issues I help clients with include: healing from abuse, divorce, school difficulties, parenting challenges, domestic violence, behavioral problems, anxiety, depression, and coping with chronic illness. I work to provide my clients with a safe and comfortable space to talk as well as to provide them with tools to help get through difficult times and situations. I am experienced in working with clients from the LGBTQ community, as well as those in non-traditional family/relationship structures.

I enjoy working with individuals who have experienced scary or stressful childhood experiences and would like a safe space to process those experiences. Sometimes those experiences turn into mood disorders, PTSD, anxiety, or failure to thrive in relationships. I am interested in helping guide you to working through these struggles and finding peace in your life. I also enjoy working with couples who feel disconnected in their relationships and would like a new direction with their partner.

I have many years of experience working with children, teens, adults and families in varying situations. I have an extensive background in working with children, teens, families, LGBTQIA+ folks, adults, and those who are retired. I have done work around complex trauma, stress, depression, anxiety, transitions, self-esteem, parenting issues, as well as a specialty in grief/loss, anticipatory grief, end of life, hospice and chronic medical issues.

Coming from the emergency medical field, I’ve seen firsthand how the mind, body, and soul are connected. We are all intersectional beings that encompass a vast amount of love and kindness, to give to ourselves and share with others.

Anxiety and depression can be debilitating and can interfere with your life. I understand and enjoy helping people who feel this way overcome these obstacles and reach their full potential.
