Hello! I am Nikkimah Davis, CEO of Safe Routes LLC. I hold a clinical social work license in Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC & Pennsylvania. Safe Routes LLC has a team of therapists providing evidence-based individual, family, and couples counseling, coaching, consultation & educational training focusing on holistic, faith-based Christian counseling. Joy’s primary focus is providing therapy to children, pregnant women, moms, and couples. Joy completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Social Work from Southeast Missouri State University and her master’s degree in marriage and family counseling at Webster Univeristy. Joy provides an environment that fosters healing with a person centered approach, openness and creates a safe space.

Dr. Patricia Jones, Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Virginia, works with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, anger-management problems, grief & loss, relationship issues, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. She also assists individuals who experience difficulties with daily living. Dr. Jones assists clients with recognizing how their negative thoughts negatively impact their emotions and pattern of behaviors. Dr. Jones obtained a Doctor of Psychology degree in Clinical Psychology in 2010 from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy Univ., Arlington, VA.

Takiya is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner (LSATP), and is a National Certified Counselor (NCC). Takiya is a Registered Supervisor with the Virginia Board of Counseling for residents in LPC, LMFT, and CSAC.

My work tends to attract clients who are ready to outgrow old patterns of behavior, thought, and emotion that no longer serve them. The clients I work with have been through pain - like myself - and need someone to help them fully heal, forgive, and pull the greatness from their pain. Such pain may present as depression, anxiety, relational issues, professional stress, lack of fulfillment, anger, etc. Whatever the symptom, we will trace the fruit back to its roots, plant new seeds, starve the old, and grow the new.
