As a clinical sexologist, I help folks explore pleasure and better communicate in intimate relationships. As a relationship counselor, I work with couples and poly folks to improve their communication and connection. As a feminist therapist, I help clients dig deep to uncover their personal power, untangle anxiety and heal from trauma. I'm pro-choice, queer/bisexual identified, and welcome LGBTQ+ clients. I'm a curious counselor, and I help people dig to the roots of their pain. Fees are $200/session for individuals and $250 for couples (self-pay only, NO insurance).

I am a psychotherapist for adult individuals and couples. Do you want stronger, clearer and healthier relationships? My clients consist mainly of open minded, artistic and unconventional persons wanting more intimacy and connection or wanting to explore their innate gifts and talents. I also work with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and non-binary persons. However, I love working with anyone who is seeking growth, wholeness and perspective.

I believe that feeling heard is a crucial step toward mental wellbeing. I prioritize meeting clients where they are and understanding how the world around each person impacts them. This inspires me to create an affirming and encouraging therapeutic environment for clients of any age or background, particularly LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent clients.

My passion is for helping others feel and live their very best. Therapy is a powerful tool to help you begin doing just that; whether you are trying to navigate feelings of depression, grief / loss, or the tumultuous feelings that come with anxiety caused by work or relationship stressors, therapy can help you shift your perspective while developing the skills needed to not only move through challenges, but to begin thriving. Please note that I am only doing telehealth right now, I do not file insurance claims for clients (but can provide the information needed to do so), my 2024 fee is $175 per session, and I am only licensed to work with Virginia residents.

Often difficult life experiences like pain, suffering, confusion, intense emotions, and things just not going right bring us to therapy. Sometimes it's our relationship with ourselves, or with significant others or family members that creates the pain point. It can also be a specific event (breakup, move, feeling left out socially) or a specific felt experience (sad, lonely, angry, scared). AND although it can feel otherwise, there's no shame in receiving support. My hope is that therapy helps you experience greater self-acceptance, compassion, and ease with yourself and your life - it's a worthy and doable endeavor.

As a therapist, I work primarily from a relational dynamic perspective and I use human diversity and social justice lenses to further inform my work. This means that I place particular emphasis on emotions and relationships, and that I strive to be emotionally present and available for authentic connection. It is my belief and experience that the work and healing of therapy occur within this connection. Therapy is thus a collaborative process of building an affirming relationship that leads to meaningful change.

As a trans, queer, and neurodivergent individual, I understand how difficult it is to navigate challenges related to gender, sexuality, and identity in general. I am passionate about serving anyone who may have been marginalized for who they are and how they exist in the world. I am skilled in issues related to LGBTQIA+ individuals, particularly those with a background of spiritual or religious trauma. I particularly enjoy working with young adults and college students on their journeys to develop a sense of self. I hope to support and advocate for my clients as we work to create spaces that are more inclusive and welcoming to all.

I have over nine years of experience supporting survivors of child abuse, dating and domestic violence, and other forms of trauma.

I am a resident in counseling who loves working with people who are going through transitional times and the difficulties of change. I have a special interest in supporting you in making sense of family dynamics, exploring identity questions, and confronting social issues. I believe in helping you to look at problems from different perspectives. I am queer affirming, and enjoy working with clients who are neurodivergent, ADHD, adolescents, and parents. We can think of the therapeutic process as a sort of metamorphosis. Like the caterpillar transforms into a butterfly, we all enter the world with everything we need within us to become our very best selves. However, in order to make that transformation possible, we each require a safe and supportive space to grow. Unfortunately, many of us never had the opportunity to experience that space. This could be due to growing up with unavailable or abusive attachment figures, taking on adult roles at an early age, experiencing isolation and rejection from our peers, etc. This is where therapy can come in - acting as a sort of cocoon.
