As a queer non-binary person that is part of both the ethical nonmonogamy and kink communities, I know personally how hard it can be to find a mental health professional that understands. After my own struggle I decided to pursue mental health as a profession so that I could give back to the communities that have meant so much to me. Everyone needs help with life sometimes and everyone should be able to get that help in a judgement free way that affirms one’s identity. Even if what you are currently struggling with has nothing to do with your identity, it can still be good to find help in a way that feels authentic to who you are.

My approach to counseling is one of respect and show of sincerity to the individuals I meet. Most of my clients come to therapy because they are struggling with how they think and feel about themselves and their relationships. Many challenges have underlying causes, and one's willingness to explore the deeper ends of who they are often provides an unexpected resolution beyond what could have been imagined initially. At the same time, it can also help to address what is at hand while being patient with more in-depth work. My goal in therapy is to follow my clients' needs and help them rediscover their wellbeing on their timeline while providing support and practical insight into their process.

Thank you for visiting my profile. These are unusual times we are experiencing which calls for unusual methods of therapy. Currently several Employee Assistance Programs, and Behavioral Health Insurance coverage are covering these methods. I also take private pay for clients not having or wanting to use any provider coverage. I am practicing teletherapy where I will utilize email to send intake forms and disclosure, while the talk therapy is done on the phone. The sessions are approximately 45-50 minutes each done in the convenience of where you are at the time.

I consult with individuals, couples, families, and businesses. This includes problems related to relationships, divorce, children, anxiety, depression, aging parents, or ongoing conflicts in business. I also work with adolescents in wilderness environments for brief periods of time.
