Darcy Kahrhoff, MA, LPC. I work together with children, adolescents, adults, parents, couples, and families to empower them to achieve their goals and reach their potential. I specialize in helping children, adolescents, and adults with autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, developmental disorders, academic challenges, social difficulties, and mental health disorders (anxiety/depression). I also help parents struggling to raise their child(ren) in our fast-paced and changing society. I am an English/Spanish counselor whose main goal is to help my clients find hope, resilience and solutions to their problems. My academic and life experiences have shown me that most challenges and frustrations have solutions. I help my clients understand that the solution is within him/her during those moments when they feel they're unable to endure life's challenges and problems. We uncover the "where, when, and how" and then we find the "why" (reasons) underlying the feelings of doom and frustration. This allows us to discover and implement workable solutions.

Dr. Torres is accustomed to treating clients with mental health disorders such as Trichotillomania, gender dysphoria, OCD, Panic Disorder, Depression, and other serious mental health struggles. Dr. Torres has a special interest in helping preteens, teens and adults on the autism spectrum. Her clinic is open to people of any nationality, race religion, gender and sexual orientation. I have worked extensively with a variety of population groups including sports athletes, law enforcement, domestic violence victims, sexual assault survivors, trauma victims, and traumatic brain injured clients as well. I provide many forms of court ordered evaluations for families in crisis. I am a certified trauma specialist. I also provide EMDR therapy. I hold BBA, Ph.D., CFMHE, & CCCE.
