Pain... Pain can be emotional, physical or spiritual and sometimes we need to talk about it, process it and allow the Lord to heal those deep places of hurt. And when complete healing is not possible, we can learn to reconcile it somehow. My own journey was to trust the process- to accept wise and Godly counsel around me, to allow others to guide me and ultimately learn from it in order to help others. My goal is to come alongside others that are in pain- to walk with you in your journey, to guide you, to pray for you, and assist with treatment disorders as needed.

Through an integration of science and faith, I bring 30 years of experience, ongoing training and a very relational style to those who just long to be seen and heard. I am currently offering an online 12 week workshop for couples that integrates weekly in-person or live telehealth visits with essential learning through video modules that equips couples for the work needed for meaningful connection. This workshop, ReDiscover Us is available to anyone at any location inside or outside of Tennessee.

I am a licensed therapist with 16-years’ experience and a passion for working with individuals who have experienced trauma and crisis, including adult survivors of childhood trauma and individuals traumatized as adults by dangerous or life-threatening situations such as natural disasters, accidents, injuries, illness, abuse or violence including professionals that deal with such trauma (veterans, law enforce, fire and rescue, and medical personnel). I am also experienced working with adults who are struggling with other challenges including dissociation, profound grief, divorce, adjustment, depression, anxiety, job issues.

Trauma has a way of rendering us powerless by making us believe lies about ourselves. We begin to live small and feel as if we have no voice. Trauma is not just in the mind, but also accumulated in the body. My desire is to help clients not only heal their hearts, but restore health and healing to the mind and body as well. I am a licensed master social worker with a masters in pastoral counseling. I am also certified in trauma sensitive yoga and health coaching. I have a diploma in nutrition. I believe all three aspects of a person should be integrated for optimal healing to take place - body, soul, spirit.
