We see children 2 and up, teens, and adults. Through integrating our faith and clinical training, we offer biblically sound and psychologically skilled approaches to life’s struggles. Our doors are open to clients from all religious, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds. We meet in person and virtually.

My theoretical orientation is cognitive behavioral. My therapy style is goal oriented, solutions focused. I am a no-nonsense therapist who works to help my clients find solutions to their problems in the most effective, non-intrusive way possible. I also offer Christian/LDS counseling upon request.

Dr. Abbassi is an expert in couple's communication and sexual issues. He is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist(LMFT), Certified Sex Therapist by American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and approved Supervisor of LPC and LMFT. He works with individual (children and Adults) in the area of depression, anxiety and general life difficulties. Dr. Abbassi has been in private practice for over 26 years. As a full Professor at local Institute of Higher Education, Dr. Abbassi teaches and provides supervision to Counseling Interns for both LPC & LMFT boards.
