Are you experiencing anxiety, depression, feeling overwhelmed or lost? Maybe you feel unfulfilled in your relationships, career, or other key areas of your life. If you are ready to explore these parts of yourself and interrupt patterns that are no longer serving you, I can help with that. Psychotherapy is a collaborative process which allows us to look at the areas that are causing distress, and identify ways to adjust your thoughts and behaviors to create positive change. I provide therapy in a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you can feel comfortable expressing yourself openly and authentically.

I offer individual therapy for anxiety, depression, adjustment concerns, grief and loss, and life transitions, and couples therapy.
Have you ever felt, "Why is this happening to me, I don't know who I am anymore!" Constant worrying, low mood, relational challenges, and life transitions can wear you down. Simultaneously, navigating multiple cultural contexts can challenge your values and world views, often creating dissonance about who you are. Within the mindful space of therapy, I can help you examine the nature of your worries, the frequent blues, your existing thinking style, responses to people and the world around you. Through collaboration, I can offer alternative ways of thinking and responding to challenges, and help develop an effective coping toolkit.

Many of us wrestle to find hope in our lives, move forward, or just make it through the day. Depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, and loss can take away motivation, causing struggle and suffering. This can change. Perhaps you're determining which life path to take or are dealing with past trauma, abuse, or painful memories. You don't have to carry this weight alone. I provide an unbiased, nonjudgmental space for adults to explore what is hindering them and overcome obstacles in healthy, ways.

I have extensive experience working with young adults, college students & couples in inpatient, and outpatient settings struggling with traumatic events in their lives, stress, adjustment and challenges that require more resilience, relationship issues, depression and anxiety. I work for The Center For Growth, treating everything from mental health to sex and relationship issues. I can help you manage thing like anxiety and depression as we explore and understand complex emotions in a safe space and find healthy and effective ways to express and release those feelings. We can immerse ourselves in exploration of your past as we make connections and gain understanding of how old patterns show up for you today. Or we can focus on the here and now, identifying what behaviors and thoughts are no longer serving you so you can create new goals that support your growth, in whatever way feels right to you.

In my clinical work I focus on helping clients develop a more compassionate and complete understanding of themselves. If you're experiencing anxiety or depression—particularly symptoms like intrusive thoughts, OCD, or the lingering effects of past trauma or abuse—it is possible to find relief through counseling. I'd like to help you start to make sense of things.

It’s natural to experience unhelpful patterns or symptoms when we've experienced trauma and adverse childhood experiences. We feel off balance, chronically stressed, anxious, or depressed. I prefer to view these symptoms as inner parts who need our attention and care. When these inner parts are healed, they feel less compelled to ruminate, obsess, or depress. That means there is more space for the qualities you want to have in your life, such as creativity, joy, confidence, clarity, peace, and presence.

I have worked especially with people who have received diagnoses such as anxiety, depression, substance-related disorders, and psychosis.
As a psychoanalyst with eleven years of clinical experience, I can work with you to analyze your life experiences and the unconscious determinations that may be keeping you stuck in some ideas and negative affects. An important aspect of my practice is creating a safe space where you can express yourself freely and work through your thoughts and feelings, while I actively listen, ask questions, and dialogue with you until unheard possibilities arise. Psychoanalysis shows us that words carry the extraordinary power to change not only symptoms but also bodies and perspectives.
