I am currently accepting adult clients for Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy in Grass Valley, CA and Portland, OR. My regular therapy practice is only open for Telehealth. I work with individuals experiencing PTSD, grief, end-of life transition, eco-anxiety, treatment resistant depression, relational challenges, and integrating non-ordinary states of consciousness. I am passionate about helping clients gain insight through self-inquiry, heal attachment through authentic connection, release trauma through embodied awareness, and experience breakthrough by dismantling patterns that no longer serve them.

My training as a couples, marriage and family therapist leads me to view client functioning in terms of relationships. My goal is to help clients bring forth a self that feels true and real. I help clients learn to ask for and receive what they need from others, embracing life and life's challenges with courage, renewed spirit, and a sense of wholeness. When clients feel supported, validated, and understood they often find that symptoms of depression and anxiety are relieved. Working with me, clients will learn to access their inner resources as we generate solutions together.

By introduction I am a proponent of using life as the best teacher. For over thirty years I have learned through many personal experiences with family mental illness and crisis that telling our stories is crucial to healing. Solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) is my chosen counseling approach that aids you as the client to discover solutions in your journey of therapy. Collaboratively my goal is to be a guide in your personal work to healing. I aspire to include Mindfulness techniques and integrating various interventions best suited to the individual to create a safe haven for positive change and growth.

Working together, grounded in my in-depth knowledge of and experience in Jungian and contemporary psychotherapies, we illuminate outworn attitudes and patterns. I understand that gender exploration and transition can create unique challenges within families; it can bring out family dynamics that are painful and difficult to navigate without help.
