It is hard enough to ask for help when you know what is not working for you in life. It becomes increasingly more difficult when there is only pain and the source is unknown. I focus on helping you reach your therapeutic goals by listening and building our therapeutic relationship; and strive to create a safe environment for you to explore the source of your struggle and pain without judgment. I do this through a lens called Restoration Therapy by understanding the current pain cycle and helping you to establish a peace cycle.

I specialize in couples and family therapy and working with adolescents. I also offer testing services, performing assessments for educational, developmental or forensic needs. For many years I have been offering support and compassion to my clients as I have worked with them to find solutions to a wide range of life's problems. My approach is practical and solution focused. I begin by helping each client tackle their immediate challenges, developing their strengths and helping to make the needed internal and environmental changes necessary for long lasting results and healing. Looking for a therapist can be complicated, so let's keep it simple: I treat individual clients and couples. I primarily treat anxiety, depression, and trauma. I have a long history of supporting Autistic and ADHD folks - neurodivergency of all kinds is welcome here! As a professional counselor, I enjoy working with children, adolescents and adults. I can treat a wide range of mental health disorders. I can also offer support with parent-child conflicts, anger management, grief, past or present suicidal ideation, and conflict resolution skills. I am also familiar with issues and concerns related to marriage and long term relationships, parenting, substance use and recovery, divorce, and changes in phase of life. I prefer a Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) approach, while working with clients.

Joleena specializes in helping couples working through betrayal and addiction of all kinds. She also works with clients that are struggling with anxiety, addictive behaviors, depression, PTSD, emotional abuse, mental abuse and trauma of various kinds. I specialize in work with individuals who experience Anxiety Disorders (OCD, General Anxiety, Phobias), Depression, Insomnia, Autism Spectrum Disorders as well as those with medical or complex presentations (e.g. depression and diabetes). I believe therapy must involve a human connection and have come to find a good sense of humor is critical to the work done in therapy. Without a strong therapeutic relationship, it is nearly impossible to make progress. However, within the context of a collaborative, supportive environment, CBT tools can be very useful. When CBT tools are not helpful, eccentric evidence-based practices may be.

Hello and Welcome! I am Lorinda Sanders and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in Idaho and Oregon. I've been in practice 25 years. I graduated from Walla Walla University with a Master in Social Work in 2000. My experience includes working with individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, career challenges, LGBTQ, relational conflict, grief and loss, and adjustment/transitional challenges. I use a number of therapeutic techniques including Motivational Interviewing, CBT, ACT, Trauma Informed Care, Mindfulness and strengths based techniques.
