I am a European-born therapist with close to two great decades of counseling individuals and couples challenged with life stressors and transitions, trauma, lack of intimacy, relationship issues, self-esteem and image, mood, focus, grief, addictions... Over the years I have successfully supported youth, adults, couples and families from all walks of life and cultural backgrounds. Please note, the demand for services can be overwhelming, I try to respond to each inquiry if at all possible.

My clients come from diverse backgrounds and are struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties and substance abuse. They are looking for a counselor who supports them in creating real change in their daily lives. They engage in counseling to understand themselves and appreciate their innate goodness and well being. They seek contentment and an experience of inner freedom

I now offer Psilocybin Experiencing and Micro Dosing. Research has shown and I have seen treatment resistant addiction conditions respond rapidly to psilocybin treatment, often in one session! I also provide assistance in dealing with what triggers your cravings, repair of relationships, and healing of traumas that resulted from using or may have contributed to beginning using in the first place. I also work with complicated grief from the loss of a loved one to overdose, suicide, or other traumatic losses. I have over 50 years of personal recovery.

I have been a psychotherapist for over 30 years, so my practice has both depth and breadth. I have much experience working with depression and anxiety, addictions and recovery, all types of trauma, and relationship issues of all kinds. I welcome LGBTQ+ individuals, folx from non-dominant cultural backgrounds, and I enjoy working with individuals, couples, "pods," and families. My goal is the empowerment of everyone I serve.

Counseling is a challenging avenue to pursue. Usually at moments of confusion, loss, even desperation. Having been in the field for over 20 years, I can admit I don't have 1 answer. However, having that amount of professional (and considerable personal) experience, I've accumulated quite a tool box. I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the past 25 years and have worked in the mental health field for over 35 years. In my private practice, I specialize in Trauma Play Therapy with children 2 yrs-10 yrs, EMDR, Ego State Therapy/Structural Dissociation, high conflict custody cases, and foster/adoption cases. I am a Certified EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) Therapist, Register Play Therapist, Certified Experiential Play Therapist, Advanced Alcohol and Drug Abuse Therapist, and Ego State Therapy . I also have extensive training in Art and Sand Tray Therapy, Yoga Therapy, and Pet Assisted Therapy.

My goal is to serve as a compassionate, safe guide for individuals who are interested in courageously exploring their inner world and integrating the experiences, emotions and beliefs that seem to block their full access to peace, joy, and productivity. I work with clients to create healthier, more satisfying relationships; alleviate depression and anxiety; reprocess trauma; heal complex developmental trauma and attachment wounds; explore identity and sexuality concerns; shift addictive behaviors; navigate medical/health issues; and grieve.

My clients are busy professionals who don't have time for therapy but would benefit from the relief it can provide. If your schedule is demanding and finding time every week to go to therapy seems impossible, working in an intensive format can be a much more efficient and effective approach. I specialize in anxiety, trauma and preverbal (early childhood) trauma, addictions, and performance, and frequently work with other health care professionals and folks in high stress, high demand positions. Because EMDR intensive sessions are not billed to insurance, no diagnosis is necessary.
