I specialize in helping LGBTQ+ people heal from the impacts of trauma. Using EMDR and other trauma and attachment focused techniques, I work with clients who's experiences of sexual or relationship trauma, difficult family relationships, marginalization, and more, have shaped how they see themselves and the world. As a queer, non-binary, trans person, I offer an environment where you don't have to "explain" your queerness, nor choose between a queer therapist and a trauma-focused one. My approach is social justice oriented, and based in the power of authenticity, acceptance, and attachment.

I’m Tosha a queer, non-binary, neurodivergent, licensed social worker in Ohio. In my practice, I specialize in offering affirming, supportive therapy to LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent youth and young adults learn to accept, and eventually, love themselves for who they are. If you are working through your gender identity or sexuality, I am here to provide support on your journey! I believe having a safe space to process your feelings, struggles and thoughts is something everyone should have access to. Jack provides couples counseling for spouses/partners/co-parents who are struggling to communicate; adjusting to marriage, cohabitation, or the demands of parenting; dealing with ADHD, addiction, infidelity, or trauma; and/or considering marriage, cohabitation, separation, or divorce. Jack also works with individuals (ages 15+) who are coping with the impact of ADHD, anxiety, depressive symptoms, trauma, and/or relationship challenges.

The climb towards resiliency and wholeness can prove to be steep. Beginning that process in the midst of painful life circumstances and finding a therapist who is well equipped, and a good fit to make that climb with you, can prove to be another difficult endeavor. If you find yourself struggling with relationship challenges rooted in family of origin (complex trauma), a cruel inner critic, or are recovering from high control spiritual/religious communities or purity culture, then we may be a good fit. I work with adults, primarily LGBTQIA+ identifying folx, to develop balance and peace within their lives and relationships.

My goal for the counseling relationship is to create a safe environment while offering support to clients struggling with feeling alone, misunderstood, or lost. I show up for clients with an open mind and an opportunity to share their thoughts, express their feelings, and explore their experiences. Everyone deserves the opportunity to speak their truth and be heard and affirmed in return.

The number one “rule” we therapists follow is autonomy for our clients – you lead the sessions, make your decisions, and allow yourself to have space and time to unburden yourself. Of course, we therapists are there to assist you through this journey. Mental health therapy is a journey to explore and become self-aware of the whys of what we do. My goal is to guide you through that journey when you need assistance.

At its best, therapy is a healing relationship. A central goal as your therapist is to understand you and with that knowledge, to help you understand yourself better. The world outside is often intense, overwhelming, and disheartening. Therapy can provide a safe space to explore how your life experiences have impacted your view of yourself, your relationships, and humanity itself.

My counseling practice is grounded in queer theory and narrative therapy. I work with adults with a range of concerns, including cultural and systemic oppression, sociopolitical issues, identity, anxiety, trauma, grief, and substance use. I specialize in working with queer & trans folks. My goal is to work with you collaboratively to achieve your desired goals for counseling. Being genuine with you is very important to me, and I believe that it is necessary if I expect you to be genuine with me. I do not expect to be an expert about you or your experiences, only a support to help

My specialties include navigating neurodivergent, transgender, and queer identities, as well as tackling issues related to autism and ADHD. Existing in a neurotypical, cishetero world, you likely feel pressure to be a certain way or meet certain expectations. As a result, you may be carrying feelings of shame, depression, anxiety, or self-hatred. Celebrating who you are or feeling pride or confidence might feel out of reach. I work with people to explore these sorts of problems and to create room for joy, celebration, and pride.

I'm Logan (they/them) and I'm an East Asian non-binary person who has lived insight into what it’s like to not be white, cis, or straight in a state like Ohio. I’ve lived in the Midwest my whole life, and I also come from a background of being raised in Christian/immigrant communities. I have experience working with the following: QTBIPOC communities, neurodivergent people, and people living with HIV. I’ve also got experience working specifically with trans clients who are exploring their transition process. I think it's crucial to provide empowering and identity-specific therapy spaces, especially for QTBIPOC right now.

My clients are typically between the ages of 16 and 60. They are typically, but not exclusively, queer, trans, polyamorous, neurodivergent, or exploring identities. I work with individuals, and relationships of all configurations, including poly, CNM, open, and monogamous, as well as folx navigating different types of trauma, anxiety, loss, burnout, and existential dread. I am dedicated to a trauma-informed, person-centered, compassionate approach. Most people long to be seen and witnessed, just as they are. Change and growth occur more easily with the right kind of support present.

I am a proud queer and transgender therapist who has dedicated my practice to providing inclusive and culturally humble services to all. My passion is in providing care to LGBTQIA+ individuals, couples & families. Additionally, I run therapy & support groups for LGBTQIA+ youth and plan to create more group spaces for people to connect to their community and peers. I have also had the privilege of providing training and education to professionals, clients and families on providing a safe and affirming space for LGBTQIA+ youth.
