I am trained to take an integrative approach with clients, meaning I carefully combine the most relevant therapeutic techniques and theories to go as deeply as needed to create the type of change clients are yearning for.
My approach is to view problems or issues from a systemic perspective. That means I am curious about our key relationships past and present, the roles we play, the rules we follow, and where our identity and value systems come from. My passion is to make sense of the ways our internal experiences (relationship with self) and our external experiences (relationships with others) collide and inform one another. I strive to help people develop wholeness of self through unpacking anything that is keeping them stuck.

I find that using an Integrative Approach for Mental health often brings conventional and complementary approaches together; emphasizing a holistic, patient-focused approach to health care and wellness—often including mental, emotional, functional, spiritual, social, and community aspects—and treating the whole person.
Creating balance in mind, body and spirit is my personal and professional mission. I have been in the counseling field for over two decades. My experience has been very extensive from working with young children in a psychiatric setting to counseling the Geriatric population in hospital and nursing home settings to educating clients on integrative therapeutic approaches like yoga. Currently, my focus has been treating women issues, depression and anxiety issues, physical illness and traumas, parenting issues, cognitive impairment and life transitions. I prefer adults but have been skilled in working with children.

I would love the opportunity to sit with you and offer a personal approach that is grounded in the timeless truth of Scripture, along with other integrative counseling methods that have been proven successful.
Now accepting new clients! No longer a waitlist. As a Licensed Professional Counselor with a pastoral background, I firmly believe that solid, Biblical counsel, along with other counseling modalities tailored to individual needs can lead to a place of "serenity" and well-being. So many factors in everyday life can take their toll on us. Thus, I believe that it is important to find someone you feel you can trust to compassionately listen to your story and help give counsel that is solid and reliable and will lead you to a positive and enriching outcome. I hope to join you on your journey towards well-being.

I provide my clients with a holistic, integrative approach to treatment that takes into account their unique culture, environment, experiences, and histories that impact overall health and wellbeing.
You just want to feel better. Trauma has turned you into someone you don’t even recognize. You’re constantly on edge and can’t sleep. If sleep does come, it’s often restless and filled with nightmares. Your creativity, performance, and professionalism is suffering. You often feel tremendous guilt and shame; no one understands what it's like. Or maybe you stuff the hurt, pain, and disappointment down deep inside so no one sees it. You know how to put on a good, happy face for others. The emptiness and loneliness seem unbearable. Or maybe this describes your loved one who you can’t seem to reach no matter how hard you try.

I am an integrative counselor, meaning I don't believe one intervention is the healer, I use parts and pieces from various at times depending what my client needs.
I am a clinical counselor that works with clients that are struggling with various concerns, symptoms and diagnosis, but my unique focus areas are Eating Disorders (restrictive types), OCD and anxiety disorders. This overall often includes, but is not limited to clients with personalities that are anxious in nature, Type A, or over-controlled. These can be challenging personalities, because individuals are often seen as thriving, but underneath they're struggling with subjects such as perfection, difficulty with change, feeling overwhelmed or other just to keep up. We'll work together to break the unknown habits to improve your life
