The goal is for you to move towards self-awareness, to become free of misconceptions and to become aligned within your total self. I have developed a warm, centered approach to counseling through more than 20 years of experience, counseling in agencies and private practice. I also conduct my sessions in Spanish and Portuguese. From painful traumas, grief and loss, relationships issues, parenting challenges, marriage disconnection, to anxiety and depression, we all experience challenges at some point in life. However, growing and becoming the best version of ourselves requires work and attention as it may not come naturally. Every person is different. Placing judgment aside and holistically seeing everyone for who they are allows me to create a safe space for growth, where clients feel supported while developing their own unique self and a stronger sense of belonging within themselves and among others.

Isaac Sommer LISW, is a Certified TF-CBT Therapist, as well as a Certified EMDR Therapist, and has significant experience with treating symptoms related to trauma and abuse (PTSD), through assisting clients in the development of adaptive coping skills and processing negative experiences.
