Creating balance in mind, body and spirit is my personal and professional mission. I have been in the counseling field for over two decades. My experience has been very extensive from working with young children in a psychiatric setting to counseling the Geriatric population in hospital and nursing home settings to educating clients on integrative therapeutic approaches like yoga. Currently, my focus has been treating women issues, depression and anxiety issues, physical illness and traumas, parenting issues, cognitive impairment and life transitions. I prefer adults but have been skilled in working with children.

Those who have achieved great professional/ academic success are coming to see me because those trusted skills don't deliver the same success in other areas of life, often affecting their relationships and causing distress during the early postpartum period. For the past 20 years, I have worked with a variety of individuals and families including children and adults in various life transitions. Part of my foundation in working with these populations is creating a safe and trusting relationship to ensure healing and growth by utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Areas of focus include, but are not limited to, attachment, complex developmental trauma, executive functioning disorders, and mood disorders. She has experience in outpatient treatment. She has a specialized interest in working with adults experiencing depression, anxiety disorders, self-esteem and relationship issues. She utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) interventions in treatment.
