Finding the perfect therapist, much like finding the perfect pair of jeans, can be both an exciting and daunting task. Finding the right fit is crucial to building a strong and successful working relationship. As a licensed mental health counselor, it is my goal to help establish a warm and empathic environment that fits you and/or your partner/family to explore your concerns and work to accomplish your goals. I work with a variety of clients tackling relational issues or seeking deep understanding of themselves. I specialize in LGBTQ+ informed treatment, couples counseling & sexual and intimacy-based concerns.
I practice with client-directed, person-centered approaches which allow you to actively drive the treatment process (after all, it is your therapy!). In my office, you can expect freedom from judgement and a safe space to explore all of the things you choose. As a hands-on and direct therapist I use humor & candor to support you in achieving your goals.
Currently, I am based in a private practice setting and I work with a wide range of ages. I am accepting new clients at this time both virtually & in-person. For new clients, I offer a free 15-minure consultation call so that we can get a feel for our match as client & therapist. From there, if I am the best fit for you, we can begin our work together.
