I help each client in the process of becoming an authentic self who is capable in all areas of life. I help people working in business, healthcare, the arts, education, along with emerging adults, and university students. My clients are sensitive, bright, and want to learn. My goals for each client are: To improve decision making and problem-solving abilities, To reduce the effects of pain and suffering, & To increase resilience. My aims for each client are: To improve self-determination and agency, To reduce non-effective, non-life-affirming behaviors, & To replace ineffective behaviors with more effective ones.
My approach is to build a strong therapeutic alliance with each client that combines support and validation with skill development to help reach cognitive, social, and emotional goals. I am Intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy with a 2-year Linehan Institute Behavioral Tech DBT-Team-Building Intensive for Independent Practitioners.
I help improve your family, friendship, financial, scholastic and work effectiveness by combining dialectical behavior therapy, education and entrepreneurship to help you engage in the process of change, activity involvement, and resource usage. I help you become a more empowered, skillful problem-solver who is adept at transforming challenge into success.
