I feel I am authentic, sensitive, warm, friendly, down-to-earth and, funny when appropriate. My inquisitive nature allows me to be a good listener. I take an approach of offering authority without being authoritarian. Psychotherapy can be an opportunity to learn how to get more from life. We will stay focused on your goal(s) to make sure you achieve them.
I trained psychodynamically, but also draw on behavioral, cognitive, gestalt, guided visualization and body/mind work, if warranted, and if the client seems interested. I always take into account the needs and goals of my client. My style can vary from curious inquiry to gentle support to robust cheering.
