For adolescent clients I incorporate the parents/guardians to assure effective change. I believe that we all have the ability to change or improve in any situation. I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working with individuals, families and groups ages 10+. As a school social worker, I have tremendous experience working with children struggling with self-esteem, life transitions, family issues, self-harm, and behavioral diagnoses such as oppositional defiant and conduct disorder. I have extensive experience treating individuals with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, as well as issues with substance and alcohol use. I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive environment where you can truly express yourself as we explore your past traumas and future goals together.

The intake process is quick and easy and serves as the building blocks for understanding the course of therapy. Progress is different for each client but can be measured by a decrease of symptoms. I work with all clients ranging from three years old up to 95-years-old who are struggling with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD, trauma, personality issues, self-esteem, relationship issues, parenting, college transitions, social issues, special education, behavior modification, phobias, oppositional behavior, grief, and parent-child relationships.

Compassion is one key used in treating children and adolescents with anxiety, depression, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and other difficulties together with their parents.
