On this journey, my hope is to help guide and provide skill training that will help you increase confidence, self-worth, and self-empowerment. I serve all ages and have specialized training to address disorders and challenges in ages 3 years old - 100+ My love and passion is supporting the health of our families. I passionately that by healing our families we heal the world.

My name is Tameka McFarland. I treat individuals, couples who are dating, planning to get married, currently married, or are considering divorce. I will treat emotional concerns that are affecting intimacy between a client and their partner. I provide support to families who have concerns about parenting. I will see any client ages 16 and up of all ethnicities and sexual orientations. My ideal client would be a couple or family, however, when seeing individuals, I encourage that the client bring another support person that they trust to their sessions. I also provide life coaching services. Telehealth services are also offered.

When going through struggles in life, you do not have to suffer in silence nor do you have to endure the journey alone. I will actively pursue the fulfillment of your therapeutic goals by listening, collaborating with you, and offering suggestions to foster positive change. Each session is conducted with an impartial approach which ensures that everyone in the session feels heard and understood. My clinical areas of focus include, but are not limited to grief & loss, autism families, stress, anxiety, depression, and supporting the highly sensitive person (HSP).

Through great pain comes better awareness and understanding about ourselves and the world around us. My journey as a counselor began during my experience with war deployments, which inspired my search to find ways to help others who are hurting. After completing my Master's degrees in Couples and Family Counseling, I have worked extensively with the court system, with families in need, and with individuals of all ages. My other passion in life is speaking and learning more Spanish. I offer therapy sessions to adults, children, families, and couples. I am a certified hypnotherapist.

I'm currently welcoming new clients for both in-person and Telehealth sessions.
