I am a TEP, ACS, LPC, NCC and an Approved Clinical Supervisor. I am the owner of The Spring Lake Heights Counseling Center and the International Institute for Souldrama®. I have been practicing individual, marital, family and group psychotherapy for adults and children for over 30 years. I am a trainer, educator, and practitioner of group psychotherapy and psychodrama and am renowned in my field as an innovator, author, and teacher. I offer supervision for mental health professionals and training in action methods as well as a two year training program in Souldrama. I specialize in groups, relationships, training and supervision.

I have been working in a private counseling setting since 2012. My counseling techniques include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, humanistic counseling and interpersonal counseling approaches. These techniques are always tailored to the clients' individual needs. I have extensive experience working with clients suffering from anxiety, depression, posttraumatic stress, teenage stress and self-esteem issues, and individuals who have endured traumatic experiences, due to domestic violence or military service. I am trained in Neuro and Biofeedback to help student and professional athletes to improve their sports performance.

I began practicing in Maryland in 1978. I resumed practicing in New York in 2004 and added an office in New Jersey in 2013. My practice covers a broad age range from 2-90. I am most comfortable treating adults with a variety of mental health issues. I also see couples and do family therapy. In addition, I have done play therapy with children. I am also comfortable conducting psychological evaluations of children ranging in age from a year to 21 years. I am an expert in developmental disabilities including autism spectrum disorders.
