Joanna (Jo) Krasnisky is a Holistic Psychotherapist and Spiritual Guide, currently in New Jersey. They work with individuals, children and families, groups, and companies. Jo offers an authentic presence and array of practical and transformative tools. Many of Jo's clients come in when they have realized they want to feel more life purpose and change relationship, behavioral, or communication patterns. Jo is particularly passionate about serving children, the LGBTQ+, and the aging community. They also have advanced training in the area of voice activation, mindfulness, energy healing, longevity, and infant mental health.

Despite having reached the pinnacle of my profession after nearly two decades of practice, it was my own struggle with learning disabilities, dual diagnosis and other medical conditions and issues, that changed my perspective and my life. I came to appreciate an approach which focuses on the here and now; solution focused and goal oriented. I found little solace in traditional therapeutic approaches which focused largely on the past, and went on for months with no real relief nor positive impact on my life or functioning. As such, I strive to help my clients achieve their goals and actualize their dreams using a coaching approach.

Ellie Mental Health located in Morristown and Parsippany are a new kind of therapy counseling clinic. Our team of talented and experienced therapists customize treatment plans based each client's needs. Our newly decorated office provides a welcoming and comfortable environment. We use Virtual Reality (VR), yoga, play therapy, and mindfulness techniques to enhance treatments. We measure our results to help our clients get the most out of each session. We accept all major insurance. We offer evening and weekend hours. We have sessions in person or online, based on our clients' needs.

There is little in this life I have found more uplifting then helping people overcome challenges and return to experiencing life in the present moment, where there is true peace, joy, and stillness. I believe in the power of each individual to take control of their lives and in doing so - accomplish their goals, feel happy, present and alive. We all benefit from connecting to a trusted source we can share deeply personal things with, opening ourselves in vulnerable ways with no risk of judgment.
