Whats unique about The Visiting Counselor (TVC) is that I am mobile. I meet the clients in their homes where they are most comfortable and feel the most secure. I also deliver counseling and psychotherapy with compassion and understanding of the person as a whole. I am able to address a wide range of issues from the everyday stresses of life to more complex chronic issues of the mind or the body.

Counseling is a very difficult thing to do, so I commend you for taking this first step to research therapists in your area. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in New Jersey with over twenty years of experience. I have experience working with adults and older adults with depression, anxiety, chronic illness, dementia, and caregiving issues. Additionally, I assist clients coping with grief, life transitions, trauma, family conflict, and in improving communication skills in relationships. I utilize various treatment modalities and tailor treatment to each client's individual needs and goals.

Welcome! I am Antoniette Richburg. I have an MSW and LCSW. As a social worker I worked in various industries such as Addictions, Domestic Violence, Developmental Disabilities. I began my clinical journey in 2007 as hospice Social Work. After 11 yrs. in that industry, I crossed over the provide private in-home counseling and psychotherapy to senior or homebound population. I opened my own practice in 2018 and began work with a wider range of clientele from ages 25 up to Centenarians. I help those truly seeking change in their life develop the tools unique to their needs, personality and circumstances.

As a licensed psychologist and clinical neuropsychologist, I offer specialized skill and training in evaluating both cognitive and psychological functioning. Forgetfulness, difficulty concentrating, and difficulty learning new information are just a few of the cognitive difficulties my clients may experience. As a clinical neuropsychologist, I am able to discern psychological symptoms of depression or anxiety from a neurological disorder such as dementia, stroke, or traumatic brain injury. Further, I can provide psychological evaluations for individuals seeking bariatric weight-loss surgery.

I am a Neuropsycholoigst with 25 years of experience in treating patients with brain injuries. I treat children, adults, and geriatric patients who have experienced brain injury. Brain Injury can happen to anyone. Concussions from a motor vehicle accident, sports injury, strokes or dementia can affect people at all ages. At Neuropsychology & Counseling Associates, LLC my staff and I provide treatment for all types of brain injuries. In addition, we offer individual, marital, and family therapy, speech therapy, biofeedback, cognitive rehabilitation, memory training, pain management, screenings, and evaluations.

I am a nurse practitioner holding dual board certifications in psychiatry and family medicine. I specialize in the medical management of mental disorders of children, adults and the elderly. My experience includes treating depression, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, attention deficit disorder, dementia, substance abuse, among other conditions. In addition I am registered to certify patients for Medical Marijuana. For those that prefer to address their issues from home, telehealth is available. I provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management.

Dr. Couvadelli is an adult and pediatric Neuropsychologist/Psychologist with areas of expertise in clinical neuropsychology, cognitive rehabilitation and health psychology. Dr. Couvadelli obtained her PhD in Behavioral Medicine with a focus on Cognitive Neuroscience. She completed an internship in clinical psychology/neuropsychology, a fellowship in cognitive rehabilitation, and a three-year postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology. Dr. Couvadelli has served as the head of Pediatric Neuropsychology at JFK Medical Center, NJ and she holds the appointment of Assistant Professor of Neuroscience at Seton Hall University School of Health/Medical Sciences.
