Welcome, thank you for taking the first step in your journey of self-love. In an ever-changing world filled with twists, turns, and unexpected outcomes it can be challenging to develop a self-care routine that promotes a strong sense of both, self-esteem and self-love. During our work together we will share a safe, confidential, and nonjudgemental space for you to tell your story, as we embark on this journey of discovery and self-love. Collectively we'll work towards developing a deeper understanding of who you are and what it looks like for you to share your story.

I'm a non-binary, white Transperson who works with adults, teens, and families. I specialize in providing trauma-informed therapy focused on communal liberation, working with LGBTIQA+/Queer folks and people that have experienced trauma and violence. In my work, I draw on Boston Liberation Health therapy, an approach which contextualizes mental health within larger frameworks in order to set achievable and meaningful short- and long-term goals. C.G. Jung stated, "In many cases in therapy the patient who has come to us has a story that is not told, and which as a rule no one knows of. To my mind, therapy only really begins after the investigation of that wholly personal story. It is the patient's secret, the rock against which s/he is shattered." My practice involves creating a client/therapist relationship and environment where this wholly personal story can be explored and brought to consciousness. I work to create a safe, accepting, nonjudgmental, and collaborative space that will bring wholeness and meaning to the suffering that every human experiences.

There are many reasons people reach out to a therapist. Sometimes, people feel stuck in their current lives, unable to realize their goals in their personal relationships or in their work. Sometimes people feel there is unfinished business to attend to from their past and they want to explore these experiences in a nonjudgemental space. Sometimes people are struggling to answer essential questions about themselves, how they show up in the world, and how they find meaning in the lives they lead. Sometimes people need someone to talk to. Whatever you are seeking to accomplish with therapy, I want to partner with you for the journey.

One of the most important factors in the success of therapy is the creation of a safe, confidential space. In this setting an individual can express all the thoughts, feelings and beliefs which they often feel unable to share, for fear of judgement or disappointing others. Clients often relate a great sense of relief when they verbalize these difficult or confusing thoughts and find that they are supported and validated. Once these inner voices are freely and safely expressed a client can more effectively identify patterns of beliefs which limit or alter and often hinder their efforts to feel whole and at peace.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in group and individual settings. Many youth are feeling the impact of the political atmosphere, and extreme transitions of their social and personal identities. Our environments are constantly changing, relationships shifting, and therapy can be a place for you to process your feelings and experiences.
