I work with individuals and couples who are seeking to solve an identified problem, or to ameliorate their lives while navigating the daily stressors of contemporary life. With my clients, I often discuss the important influence of family and culture(s) of origin, relational patterns, and other situational factors that might maintain or reinforce existing challenges. My ideal clients are open to exploring how to best improve their lives - and I am willing to meet them where they are.
I have worked with young adults in a university setting for many years and am well-acquainted with the challenges of this developmental stage. In addition, I spent a decade living and practicing abroad, and am familiar with the cross-cultural difficulties faced by expatriates and anyone who might consider themselves displaced.
