My passion is assisting clients rediscover their inner strength and process the unhealthy events in their past. This process is for those who want more out of life than they are currently receiving.

I am a firm believer that virtual counseling sessions are just as effective as in-person sessions! I am excited to offer 30- and 45-minute virtual counseling sessions, which fit into everyone’s life. These sessions are convenient for you and fit into your busy schedule, but also allow us the opportunity to walk through the mountains and valleys of your life together. My desire is that during our time together, you are able to share your pain & struggles, without fear of judgment; and that you gain the courage to walk forward in life with the hope for a better tomorrow.

Kids just want to be heard. I empower my clients to feel comfortable opening up to tell their side of the story so I can help them to improve daily life. I have been in the field of education for 20 years (elementary/middle school teacher and current school counselor) and have learned how to build relationships with my students/clients that are comfortable and trusting. A trusting relationship is where change starts to happen! Parents are included in the process of therapy in order to have a full circle approach to tackling the child's biggest challenges. My focus is on children, adolescents and young adult age groups.

In my ten years as a counselor, it's been my privilege to care for men, teens, and couples wrestling with depression, stress, and anxiety; addiction (drugs and alcohol; gambling; sexual...); the grief involved with divorce; the struggles associated with life's transitions; difficulties in school and relationships; and family conflict. My hope is that the men and women I talk to would be able to experience intimacy in their relationships, fullness of life, and find success in their daily lives.

I have experience working with a wide range of clinical issues including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, self-esteem, PTSD, first responder trauma, post-partum depression, family conflicts, pre-marital counseling, polyamorous relationships, domestic violence, multiple personality disorder (DID), Asperger’s Disorder, relationship issues, identity crisis, LGBT specific problems and concerns, grief and loss, as well as people struggling with bipolar disorder. I also have experience in paranormal psychology. All sessions are telehealth/online!
