I have been in the field of education for 20 years (elementary/middle school teacher and current school counselor) and have learned how to build relationships with my students/clients that are comfortable and trusting. A trusting relationship is where change starts to happen! Parents are included in the process of therapy in order to have a full circle approach to tackling the child's biggest challenges. My focus is on children, adolescents and young adult age groups.

In my ten years as a counselor, it's been my privilege to care for men, teens, and couples wrestling with depression, stress, and anxiety; addiction (drugs and alcohol; gambling; sexual...); the grief involved with divorce; the struggles associated with life's transitions; difficulties in school and relationships; and family conflict.
