My path to counseling began very young through my own personal experience with loss of life, which lead me to the path to helping others. I understand that missing our loved ones and being depressed is normal, and the key to grieving is to find a way to form a new relationship with the one we lost. In addition, through my collegiate student-athlete experience I understand the delicate balance of being a student-athlete, including the pressures that come along with it.

I am a certified trauma focused cognitive behavior therapy clinician (TF-CBTC) and a certified clinical trauma professional (CCTP) psychotherapist with over 30 years of experience in the field of mental health. I am in private practice and have extensive expertise working with adults dealing with trauma, depression and anxiety. In addition, I work with children and adolescents ranging from ages 5 to 18 who have experienced a traumatic event in their lives related to child abuse/neglect or a change in their family circumstances involving divorce, blended and step-parent family issues.
