I have experience with treating clients with a variety of diagnoses including Depression, Anxiety Disorder, Bi-polar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Sexuality Issues, Transgender issues, Substance Abuse, Psychosis, Behavioral and Parenting Issues. I've worked in the Behavioral Health Unit of a local hospital for the past several years and have practiced in clinics in urban and rural areas. I have seen clients from a variety of educational backgrounds including higher education such as teachers and professors. At this time, I am seeing patients by telehealth only.

I offer appointment times after work hours or on the weekends. You will find me to be a fun therapist who thrives on incorporating all aspects of emotion into her sessions. I help women struggling with low self-esteem grow their love and acceptance for themselves so that they can reduce anxiety and feel at peace within. Many of us struggle with a harsh inner critic telling us that we're not good enough, smart enough, pretty enough, etc. In sessions, I focus on creating an emotionally safe space so that together, we can work towards your goals of quieting the inner critic and growing your self-esteem so you feel good enough!

Aleya is a Licensed Master Social Worker who obtained a Masters Degree in Social Work from University of Michigan. Her education includes Macro Social Work, Social Policy & Evaluation, and Community Organizing. Her experience and training involves a plethora of therapeutic approaches; including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialetical Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Motivational Interviewing, Moral Reconation Therapy, and CAMS. Aleya utilizes a person-centered, individualized approach when providing therapy to ensure the methodology matches the client’s needs.

KCC clinicians specialize in trauma and work from a trauma-informed platform. What this means is that we treat various mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and substance use from the idea that trauma has affected the individual’s overall mental health. We also treat Dissociative Disorders, are rainbow allies and seek to provide a nurturing, empathetic environment for our clients. We also enthusiastically celebrate all diversity and have specific skills and experience in relation to working with the disabled minority. I am David Foreit, a Licensed Professional Therapist. I have been helping people help themselves for more than 35 years. I graduated from the University of California at Irvine in 1983 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Ecology. Then, from California State University at Fullerton, in 1985, I received a Master’s Degree in Counseling. In my years of study and applying my skills with clients of all ages and walks of life, I have come to understand that what we BELIEVE about a situation often dictates how we feel and respond TO that situation. So it follows that if you can change what you believe you can change how you feel and act.
