Hello, my name is Shondelle Johnson-Pugh. I am licensed as an LCSWC in the state of Maryland. Although I have worked with individuals and families for over 22 years. Most recently, I have been blessed with the opportunity to provide therapeutic services for the last five years. My background consists of providing services to those seeking support in the areas of maternal mental health, depression, relationship issues, improvement in self-esteem, defining coping skills, and pre/post-adoptive therapy.

He has a decade of experience and started working as a mental health counselor at Sheppard Pratt Hospital in their Child and Adolescent Day Hospital. He also has experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with a variety of mental health disorders.

As a licensed clinical professional counselor with a broad range of knowledge and experience of over 20 years in both the mental health and substance abuse fields, it's important to meet the client "where they are," emotionally, spritually, and psychologically. My approach to counseling is cognitive behavioral targeted towards empowerment of the client, changing negative thinking patterns and identifying client strengths to bring positive life altering changes. Other modalities of treatment are utilized as necessary, tailored to client needs. I work with individuals, families, couples, and veterans. My style is nonjudgmental with a high degree of respect, warmth and support.
