***I am not accepting new clients at this time. Please contact me if you'd like to be added to my waitlist.*** Times of transition can often cause us to feel overwhelmed and alone. While people close to us may be supportive, we may not always feel able to share with them our doubts and discomfort. Having an empathic therapist who can objectively help us navigate the journey is invaluable. My work with clients who have struggled with depression and anxiety, survived trauma or grief, or experience the world as LGBTQ+ identified people is strengths-based, person-centered, and results-oriented.

As a therapist, I specialize in working with complex trauma. I enjoy helping individuals develop new coping strategies, expand their capacity, and make meaning of what has occurred in their lives. I excel at supporting people who experience intense emotions or worry that they are “too much.” Additionally, I specialize in treating individuals exploring their gender identity and/or sexuality. I enjoy offering informed and non-judgmental therapy for LGBTQAI people. My focuses include the asexual spectrum, the kink community, people practicing ethical non-monogamy, and individuals with fetishes.

I am looking to provide support to individuals that want to change the patterns that no longer serve them as well as they once did. People who want to develop the necessary coping skills to make and maintain positive change in their life. With this. comes some self-awareness on the part of the individual, and recognition of your strengths and resilience on my part. I look forward to talking with you about your goals.

Teletherapy
Teletherapy and Online counseling have grown enormously as a medium for therapy since the advent of social distancing. Most therapists are happy to provide sessions by video or phone.

All professionals are licensed to provide video therapy to clients within the State in which they hold their license. Cross State licensing exists, but is rare.

So if you're a client in Massachusetts, this list of teletherapists are licensed to provide therapy to you online (by phone, video or text based chat) because they are within your state. They are sorted nearest to furthest, with professionals in Massachusetts listed first.

Teletherapy via phone or video can be very similar to conventional in person sessions. The message is the same, even if the medium is different. There are some advantages in the form of convenience, lack of travel and being in comfort of your own home. Set against those, professionals find it more difficult to read non-verbal signals of their clients, and you may find you yourself can be more easily distracted.
