I am a therapist who specializes in increasing sexual communication, pleasure, and satisfaction for my clients. I work with both individuals and couples to achieve the sexual lives they are looking for. People struggle with sex for many reasons such as learning "sex is bad", concern about differences in desire, no desire, struggling with sex/gender identity, trauma, lack of comfort/education about sex, anxiety about having sex/talking about sex with others, pelvic pain, not orgasming, ED, premature ejaculation etc. If this sounds like you I am here to help without judgement, to collaborate on how to create a new sexual narrative.

Recently years focus and committment has been on supporting children, couples and families with learning challenges and worked supporting the creation of MA Dyslexia screening legislation.

I most often work with people struggling with sexual or gender identity, negative impact of masculinity norms, emotional distance, social anxiety, and spirituality to understand and communicate their needs, create intimacy and connections, feel centered, and gain a sense of calm in their lives. People who work with me report they improve their relationships, are calmer and better able to manage their worries, identify and communicate their needs to others without shame, create deeper meaning, and are more satisfied with their lives.

We bring a decolonized and liberated perspective to therapy. Blackness and all expressions thereof, are celebrated here at Kuji. The Black experience is incorporated into all of our services and all voices – LGBTQIA+, POC, and Indiginous, are uplifted and celebrated.

I blend alternative therapeutic models with the latest research in epigenetics, insights from ancient spiritual traditions, wisdom from earth-based living, and embodied rituals to create processes that shift your relationship to suffering, sorrow, or emotional challenges and open you into deeper connection with your true self and harmony with life. I am affirming of LGBTQ+, poly/ENM, and kink identities. I use anti-oppression, anti-racist, ecopsychology & trauma-informed frameworks to support individual and collective liberation.

Representation matters and I am part of the LGBT community, latinx and have an invisible disability. I have been doing this work for about 10 years (MSW Boston College 2015). I am ready when you are! Genuine compassion and trust is at the root of any solid relationship and necessary for success to manifest! We have to be willing and ready to do the messy work. As your therapist, I also have to be ready. I have to be ready and capable of containing all of what comes up in therapy.

People often ask me, "What is the purpose of therapy?" I believe there are a few answers to that question. First, you come to therapy to defrost grief, unexpressed rage and other negative feelings, e.g. traumas, losses, betrayals. You also learn to re-parent yourself. Second, you come to have a better transition in your work or love life, or to improve your performance and personal relations. Finally, you get to share your dreams and goals in a safe environment, with no judgment, and to produce amazing action plans to manifest your best life ever.

I’m especially interested in working with people who come from difficult families, people concerned with meaning and spirituality, people who have experienced emotional and spiritual abuse, people grappling with attachment issues, and people with "people-pleasing" tendencies.
