Things can get better. Are you looking for a respectful, compassionate and confidential setting where your voice will be heard? If you have been struggling with issues such as increased sadness, anxiety or the inability to process emotional events, counseling may help. I use integrated methods such as Motivational Interviewing, CBT, DBT, Solution Focused Therapy and EFT/ Tapping to foster emotional, psychological, interpersonal growth and wellness. My hope is that each client will share a willingness to work together toward a more fulfilling life. Challenges that interfere with life balance can be addressed in therapy.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor(LADC I) who understands that emotional issues and substance issues can be intertwined and effectively dealt with together. Due to Covid 19, sessions are being scheduled as telesessions and in-person on an individual basis.
I have extensive experience working with adults and adolescents in the human services field. Let's talk about your goals and how a therapeutic alliance can greatly improve your chances of reaching them. I am very hopeful about positive change.
