Initially trained as a USN Psychiatric Corpsman, I have been working in psychiatric-trauma for over 25 years. In the past 3 years I have successfully worked more than 100 Corporate Critical Crisis Incidents & provided Mental Health & Marriage Counseling to over 10,000 individuals.

I focus on working on what the client desires as an outcome. Therapy is for the growth of the client to acquire the knowledge to overcome obstacles that present.

My areas of focus include trauma & PTSD, borderline personality, and couples struggling with ineffective communication and conflict resolution due to trauma. I also work with men on social skills, dating, anxiety, and feeling lost as they navigate the unique challenges of our current day and age. I'm passionate about helping individuals understand how past traumatic experiences are influencing their current thoughts and behaviors; I believe your experiences and problems are unique, and I would love to be part of your therapeutic journey.

I am licensed as a Professional Counselor by the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Licensed Professional Counselors. I earned a Master of Arts degree in Community Counseling from Louisiana State University in 2001. The theoretical basis for my counseling services is based on the cognitive-behavioral model.

Counseling is not just an educational endeavor for me, it is my true life’s passion. As my primary spiritual/natural gift, my purpose on earth is to utilize my counseling skills to serve others in any capacity that I can. We have all felt sad, angry, lonely, misunderstood, unforgiven, misused, abused, fed up, and so on and so forth. Our goal in therapy would be to examine your emotional well being and how it impacts your life.
