I specialize in individuals who suffer from behavior, social, mental, and emotional barriers. My educational and clinical experience has equipped me with years of training analyzing behavior and mental disorders along with social and emotional adjustment. I utilize an integrative approach to counseling. Through my experience as a counselor I have gained competencies in mental processes and disorders and various therapeutic techniques such as behavior modification techniques, positive self-talk, coping skills, mindfulness, anger-management skills, and much more. I have a strong passion to educate and sow into the life's of others.

I have always had a desire to help people since I was a small child. As a young adult my interest began to grow towards the helping profession. My faith is important to me. It is my faith that continues to drive my profession as a therapist. I believe in life we experience so many things that effect how we think, live, and grow as a person. I wanted to gain more knowledge on how to be effective in helping people. So, then begins my journey to social work.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor whose scope of practice includes addiction and mood disorders. A Baton Rouge, LA native, I have earned both my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and her Master of Education degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of New Orleans. My holistic therapeutic framework includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and narrative therapies, as well as implementing the Wellness Model. I have worked extensively with adolescent and adult populations within the recovery community in New Orleans and surrounding areas.
