I am certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy which was designed to help you recover from previous trauma and Interpersonal Psychotherapy for Depression. I'm also trained in other evidence-based therapies that help with anxiety, depression, stress, parenting difficulties, and relationship issues.

In addition to being a licensed counselor, I am also a committed Christian and practice in a Christian counseling center. I work with individuals: teenagers (14+) and adults of various ages and with a variety of issues. Although my experience is not limited to these, specific areas of focus include the following: depression, anxiety, high-functioning autism, adoption-related issues, alcoholism and eating disorders, spiritual struggles, and general life issues. I am interested in working with people who are ready to improve the quality of their life.

Clients typically approach me when they have experienced trauma (single incident or complex, recent or past) or are experiencing concerns related to the perinatal time period. This includes anxiety, depression, miscarriage, birth trauma, infertility, guilt, and overwhelm. I work best with clients who are looking to explore the deeper root of their problems rather than only the symptoms. I also identify as Christian. I can incorporate faith into counseling upon a client's request; however, I work with clients from a variety of belief systems and only include clients' spiritual or religious beliefs when requested and appropriate.
